Established in July 2022, Papi’s Ohana is more than just a bakery-it’s a labor of love, faith, and community. Our Chef David, brings over two decades of experience as a baker, having trained under the esteemed French Chef Fabrice. His passion for the craft is evident in every hand-crafted pastry, made from scratch with the finest ingredients. You don’t just smell heavenly aroma-you taste it in every bite.

Papi’s Ohana was born out of a time of hardship, but built on faith and resilience. Due to Covid-19 Chef David faced lay off most like the entire globe and during the aftermath of Covid-19, Chef’s father, Papi went to be with the Lord. Chef David found solace in serving others. Wednesday prayer nights in our living room became a time of fellowship, and soon, David was feeding not just hearts but also bellies. From those gatherings, Papi’s Ohana came to life.
When disaster struck our island in August 2023, we stood with our community, serving, offering food, comfort, a place for refuge, and unwavering support to those affected by the Maui Wildfires. In the face of devastation, our Ohana grew stronger, bound by a shared commitment to lift each other up.
Today, our humble bakery stands as a tribute to Papi’s legacy and a place where prayer, fellowship and aloha are always welcome. We are more than a MADE-FROM-SCRATCH BAKERY-we are Ohana!
